The project includes the transformation of the former Municipal Slaughterhouse into a public center for education and research. For education, the complex includes facilities for special university uses (DAMS) and, for research, those for use by the community (book and film libraries). This includes and is closely tied to the already-restored exhibition facility of "Salara" and the Porta Lame bastion.
